The Irish office is to be headed by Greg Deane, former head of e-discovery and data management at William Fry. The cost to the employer of a data request depends on the volume of data involved, and the quality of the company’s information governance. Up to 20 million documents had to be reviewed, leading to a few hundred thousand that were relevant to the litigation. Discovery involved approximately 1.75 million documents being reviewed. It used technology to review approximately two million documents that had already been examined using older tools.
