The two were escorted to Bangkok Remand Prison after the hearing that brought an end to the high-profile court case that began in the Criminal Court in 2019. At the same hearing in 2023, the appeal court upheld the lower court’s acquittal of 22 other UDD leaders on terrorism charges. The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a plea by the daughter of Yoswaris to defer judgement for another 30 days.
