JOHOR BARU: The move to set up a third campus for the Foon Yew High School in Seri Alam was well received. Johor Baru Tiong-Hua Association, which consists of members from five Chinese clans, have contributed money and other aid to make the new campus a reality. “The contribution and commitment shown by the school committee and Chinese education enthusiasts are important,” he added. Foon Yew High School, set up in 1913, is the largest Chinese independent school in the country in terms of both students and campus size.
