Support for the Social Democrats has reached a record high, the latest Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks poll shows, with the popularity of party leader Holly Cairns also rising. The party has seen its level of support among voters rise by one point to 11pc following gradual increases over recent months since the election of Catherine Connolly as President.
