Miami and Monaco may be well known for their respective superyacht shows, but when it comes to concentration to wealth…and flashy superyachts and exclusive cars, and a wide array of cool water toys…it’s hard to overlook the Dubai International Boat Show that started today. And when the list of yachts on display is topped by the 252-foot long, Silver Fast, the 229-foot long Joy, and many others, it could be hard to tell the difference. All the big yachts that will be in Dubai are opulent, but few can really compare with the strikingly silver Silver Fast. And of course it has the requisite touch-and-go helipad, beach club with spa, accommodations for up to 18 guests and of course…it’s silver. Silver Fast may be the largest yacht on display but Joy, the 229-foot-long Feadship that was launched last July is no slouch either.
