Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after three supermarket delivery vans suffered “significant damage” in Dublin. Three Supervalu delivery vans had their windscreens smashed between the hours of 3am and 5am this morning while parked outside of the supermarket in Ballinteer Dublin 16. Gardaí stated that “significant damage” was caused to the vehicles and while nothing was taken from the vans, have appealed for road users with dash cam footage or witnesses. Supervalu said it was “extremely disappointed” to have their vehicles vandalised, particularly during the ongoing coronavirus crisis. “It is extremely disappointing as this act of vandalism has affected our delivery service at a time when the community depends on us,” a spokesperson told Independent.ie.
