Super Typhoon Hagibis is located about 400 miles north-northwest of Guam as of Wednesday, moving to the northwest at 13 mph, according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 155 mph, with gusts up to 189 mph, according to forecasters. The agency also issued a tropical storm warning for Agrihan Island. The storm rapidly intensified over the weekend, growing from a tropical storm to the equivalent of a Category-5 hurricane in the Atlantic in less than a day. Japan's Meteorological Agency said that Hagibis could come very close to western and eastern Japan before moving toward northern Japan on Saturday through Sunday, Japanese broadcaster NHK reported.
