Half a year later, WWE would face its second controversy with the absolute mess that was Crown Jewel. Crown Jewel, held in November 2018, essentially coincided with Saudi Arabia's execution of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi. Here we are eight months later, and no surprise: WWE is facing a similar issue with Super Showdown.
