Vic Beasley Jr. of the Atlanta Falcons had a league-high 15 1/2 sacks during the regular season. 5 spot on Pro Football Focus’s Top-10 breakout players list for surrendering only 27 pressures across nearly 300 more snaps than he has ever played in a pro season. In Super Bowl XLVI, another Patriots’ Super Bowl loss, the Giants pressured Brady on 20 of his 43 dropbacks, but just five with a blitz, holding him to 94 yards with an interception. After concerns of a shoulder injury surfaced late in the season, Beasley has two tackles, one pass tipped and no sacks in two postseason games. He’ll need to do better to help his team beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
