President’s Secretary Dr. P.B. Jayasundera is facing the wrath of many government members, including Cabinet Ministers, it is learnt. Several weeks back, Minister Rajapaksa had reportedly confronted Jayasundera at the President’s office. However, Presidential Media Spokesman Kingsly Rathnayaka had told the media at the time that he had no knowledge of any such plans. Despite that, several media reports yesterday (18) noted that Jayasundera had decided to resign via a letter submitted to the President.
