Sunderland have sacked Jack RossJack Ross has been relieved of his duties as Sunderland manager. A statement from Sunderland chairman Stewart Donald read: “This is a decision that has been made with a heavy heart. “Jack has worked extremely hard, and has helped us achieve stability at the club, and I sincerely thank him for his efforts. “I accept that any time we don’t win a game, we are going to be criticised. “It was nowhere near good enough, not only for Sunderland but for any football team.
