Sun Pharma is the world's fifth largest speciality generic pharmaceutical company and India's top pharmaceutical company. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 889.24 crore for the same period of the previous quarter. Country's largest drug maker Sun Pharmaceutical Industries on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,713.69 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2016. For the fiscal year ended March 31, the company posted a net profit of Rs 4,715.91 crore. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 889.24 crore for the same period of the previous quarter, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries said in a filing to the BSE.
