Scan on quota post• New Delhi, June 3: The department of personnel and training has asked all government ministries and departments to ascertain by mid-July how many appointments were made in the reserved categories across their offices on the basis of allegedly fake caste certificates. A similar exercise by UPA II in 2010 had exposed nearly 2,000 instances of the malpractice. Prajapati• Lucknow (PTI): A special court in Lucknow on Saturday directed its office to register a chargesheet filed against former Uttar Pradesh minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and six others in connection with a gang-rape case. The Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) court fixed June 5 for taking cognisance of the offences.
