more-inThe annual summer festival in the Nilgiris will begin with the Spice Show in Gudalur on May 4. Director of the state horticulture department, N. Subbaiyan, Nilgiris District Collector, Innocent Divya, police officials, along with officials from other departments participated in the meeting held to finalise dates. The vegetable show will then be held at the Nehru Park in Kotagiri on May 5 and May 6. The Rose Show will be held on May 12 and May 13 at the Government Rose Garden in Udhagamandalam. The 122nd annual flower show, which draws the most tourists, is to be held from May 18 to May 20 at the Government Botanical Garden, and the summer festival season will close with a Fruit Show on May 26 and May 27 at the Sims Park in Coonoor.
