The governor cited the thriving Zamboanga City Sardines Industry as proof of the rich resource of the Sulu fishing area. Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Director-General Isidro Lapeña was scheduled to visit Sulu yesterday, Wednesday for the signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between TESDA and the Sulu Provincial Government on technical skills training and assistance. Accordingly, state colleges and universities (SUCs) in Sulu were among those included in the TESDA assistance.
