New Delhi: The government has appointed Sujoy Bose as chief executive officer (CEO) of the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) after a search that lasted almost six months. “Congratulations to Shri Sujoy Bose for being appointed CEO of NIIF. The NIIF is an innovative fund to finance India’s infrastructure need,” tweeted minister of state for finance Jayant Sinha. 40,000 crore to finance the requirements of India’s infrastructure sector, mainly through foreign investment. Bose has extensive international experience in the infrastructure sector, including experience in raising funds from international investors, said a finance ministry statement.
