A suicide car bomber packed an ambulance with explosives and drove toward a hospital in central Kabul, detonating his load in a busy area Saturday. The attack left at least 63 people dead and 151 wounded, the Afghan Public Health Ministry and Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said. Taliban insurgents claimed responsibility for the attack, which they said targeted police guarding a road leading to the former Interior Ministry in an area densely populated with civilians.
