He said: "We did not have the time to ask for identities of patients brought to our hospital as each of us had to tackle the intense rush after the fire incident." CARe authorities decided to treat the Suhrawardy patients—who were forced to evacuate the government hospital due to the fire—for free, he added. According to bdnews24.com's report, a total of 30 patients were brought to the CARe Hospital from ShSMCH and 27 of them were admitted; seven of them to the Intensive Care Unit.
