Barry Deblauw spoke little in court and looked sullen as Ontario Court Justice Louise Serre sentenced him to 40 months in prison on child pornography and drug charges Tuesday. The 56-year-old Greater Sudburian has already served 10 months, so he’ll spend another 30 month in prison on the child porn counts. “There are two elements to child pornography — children and violence,” Serre said. Optical discs were also found that contained child pornography. In all, Deblauw had more than 3,000 movies of child pornography, court heard, along with some 9,000 of investigative interest.
