The reality in Britain for many, however, is a lengthy asylum process followed by a struggle for employment and then a succession of low-wage jobs. Sixteen months after the toppling of Sudan’s long-term dictator Omar al-Bashir, the country’s youth have seen little benefit and fear they never will, according to Alsonosi Ahmed, a journalist who has investigated Sudan’s burgeoning trafficking industry.
