Up to 250 people have been killed since January in alleged attacks on the Jebel Marra region of Darfur, according to an Amnesty International report. Those affected by the “poisonous smoke” suffered symptoms including bloody vomiting and diarrhoea, blisters that changed colour and fell off, blindness and nausea. Amnesty said that the indiscriminate bombardment continued and marked a new low in the regime’s human rights abuses.…
