more-inAs the stage is being set for the launch of Dharani, the one-stop shop for land transactions in the State, the government has decided to enhance internet speed of its wide area network to facilitate easy and faster operations. The government has speeded up the process for putting in place the latest version of the Telangana State Wide Area Network (TSWAN 2.0). The new version of the wide area network is expected to enhance the network speed from the existing 4 mbps to 12 mbps, facilitating faster data transfer. The TSTS had decided to continue its memorandum of understanding with the BSNL as it offers high speed network at reasonably lesser prices compared to other service providers. T-Fibre networkThe government was also negotiating with service providers for putting in place the T-Fibre network which will enable data speed of 1 gbps.
