(AP Photo/Jim Mone)It stands to reason that it wouldn’t take long for teams to mimic the Los Angeles Angels and the success they had last season with two-way star Shohei Ohtani. No player since Babe Ruth has been as effective as both a pitcher and a hitter than Shohei Ohtani. Ohtani will not pitch this year and got a late start to the season while recovering from his operation. The Angels have another two-way player in Jared Walsh, who made his major-league debut May 15 after being called up from Triple-A Salt Lake. The Angels and Pirates will face the same situation with their two-way players.
