KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will send about 60 personnel from various agencies to manage the field hospital set up for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S Subramaniam (pic) said the team members, including doctors and nurses, were ready to be sent there. “Their duration of stay there will depend on how long they are needed. “If they are needed for an extended period of time, we can perhaps rotate the teams sent there,” Dr Subramaniam told reporters at the MIC's Deepavali open house at the Batu Caves complex. Dr Subramaniam said Malaysia was waiting for suggestions from the Bangladesh authorities on where the field hospital should be located.
