Subang airport flights resume after burst tyre causes delay - Nation


SUBANG: Flights at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport here were delayed after a Malindo Air Flight from Langkawi suffered a burst tyre upon landing. Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) spokesperson said the incident, which occurred at about 4.20pm on Tuesday (Feb 27) left the aircraft stranded on the runway. “All 33 passengers on board the aircraft had been ferried to the terminal building, followed by their baggage at 5.05pm. “The aircraft was stranded on the runway which necessitated the closure of the runway at Subang airport for take off and landing,” MAHB said. “We regret to inform that there were some impact to flights whereby five Firefly and three Malindo flights were diverted during this period.
