Bryce Harper and Citizens Bank Park is a match made in baseball heaven. In 2018, the Phils hit 103 home runs at home, as opposed to 90 by opponents, but those figures are guaranteed to change with Harper and J.T. All four teams made radical revisions during the off-season but none so dramatic as Philadelphia, which fulfilled its promise to “spend stupid money” in a months-long bid to woo Harper away from Washington. Adding Harper helps a Phillies team that ranked only 11th in average last season, often had trouble scoring runs, and consistently suffered defensive lapses. At least Harper won’t have to change his primary colors; the Phils, like the Nationals, use red as the main color of the uniforms.
