Stuff Fibre ticked off by ComCom over marketing claimSUPPLIED Stuff Fibre has been warned its marketing claim likely breached the Fair Trading Act. Internet provider Stuff Fibre has received a warning from the country's competition watchdog for claiming it is "probably NZ's fastest internet". The Commerce Commission found the marketing claim probably breached the Fair Trading Act because the company did not have reasonable grounds for making the claim. A copy of the warning sent to Stuff Fibre has been lodged on the commission's enforcement response register. Stuff Fibre is 51 per cent owned by Fairfax Media New Zealand, publisher of Stuff and newspapers including The Dominion Post, The Sunday Star-Times and The Press.
