Credit: Studio GhibliNot to be confused with the wonderful Studio Ghibli Museum in Tokyo, it seems that the much loved anime studio will be opening a theme park in Aichi prefecture based around the world of My Neighbor Totoro. The plan is to open the exhibit sometime in early 2020 at the Aichi Expo Park not far from Nagoya. This Expo Park originally came about for the World’s Fair back in 2005 and I even managed to visit it at the time. The timing of this park is also likely to tie-in with the 20th anniversary of My Neighbor Totoro, which is next year. If you haven’t done so already, you should definitely watch My Neighbor Totoro, as it is now widely available on Blu-ray and DVD from retailers such as Amazon.
