Students showcase talent at festivalModern and cultural dances and spoken word performances enthralled audiences at Mwaani Girls School yesterday during the Eastern Region Film and Theatre festival.The 60th edition of the festival has been underway in Makueni County since Friday last week. The festival has brought together various schools in Eastern Region. The narrative used symbolism to tackle the thorny issue of sexual relationships among students in schools. Makueni Boys, with their play, Ramafosa, which had earlier emerged as the best in Makueni County, was also impressive. Regional Drama festival chairperson Dhillon Mugendi said this year's festivals have seen very quality performances compared to last year.
