Students at two area Catholic high schools are staging a walk-out in an effort to bring striking support staff and Windsor-Essex Catholic District School board administration back to the table. The students walked out of class shortly after 11 a.m. at several Catholic schools including St. Anne and St. Joseph. The strike includes 380 custodians, IT workers, clerical staff, technical staff and maintence workers at Catholic elementary and high schools across the region. "There can be up to three-hour delays, some teachers don't get in until around fourth period," said Katie Butler, a Grade 12 student at St. Anne high school.
