Students of seven government colleges block roads at different points in Dhaka on Wednesday. Around 12pm on Wednesday, students of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul Government College blocked the Tantibazar intersection. Around 1pm, students of Dhaka College and Eden College blocked the Science Laboratory intersection and staged a sit-in. Students of Dhaka College and Eden College have been gathering on the campus since the morning. Plans are under way to form Dhaka Central University by combining Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Girl's College, Mirpur Government Bangla College and Government Titumir College.
