According to local sources, the young learners of the academy blocked the highway in the morning causing a long traffic jam. They demanded the bridge over the highway after the death of a female student of the academy. Police officials from Tongi police station met Mayor Asaduzzaman Kiron over the issue. Later, the mayor went to the spot and met the students. They withdrew the blockade after the mayor declared to build up the bridge over the highway.
