PUTRAJAYA: A review will be made on the proposal by the Higher Education Ministry to let students in campuses return to their homes, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. He said there was a need to study the proposal further as it would involve the movement of almost 80,000 students in private and public universities nationwide. “We will let the Health Ministry study the effects on health, to not just the students, but the respective residents of the places they are returning to as well. On another matter, Ismail Sabri said those who failed to comply with MCO or refused to cooperate with the authorities would face sterner action now that the MCO had been extended to April 28. Ismail Sabri said those who failed to cooperate with any civil servant, including Health Ministry personnel such as doctors and nurses, would be dealt with as well.
