Pak Klong Rangsit police were alerted to the accident on the Somsang road in Tambon Bang Poon in Muang district at 1.30am. Narathorn Sonthi, 22, an engineering student of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi was killed. The truck also hit and slightly damaged a taxi, driven by Preecha Khunlarn, 45. Preecha told police that he was driving behind a truck and its trailer hit a motorcycle, which was running beside it. The truck sped off after the accident, Preecha added.
