The body of Dechapol Trakulklanarong, 25, was found drowned in a roadside irrigation canal by passers-by. He was wearing a crash helmet and his motorcycle was found about five metres away in the canal. Dechapol was a student at Rajabhat Kamphaeng Phet University. He was believed to have died six or seven hours earlier. Police said he seemed to have lost control at the curve in the dark and plunged into the canal.
