Reading time: about 3 minutesThe Student Assembly approved $50,000 in funding for the ALANA Intercultural Board at their Feb. 5 meeting and moved forward with six other funding requests from student organizations across campus. These funding requests will be filled through the Student Assembly’s Special Projects Fund, a resource designated to provide financial support for on-campus activities and student organizations. Kotlikoff and his administration are responsible for responding to Assembly proposals within 30 days, according to the Student Assembly charter. Although the unseated members will remain formally listed on the Assembly, the action strips them of their voting privileges, significantly limiting their ability to participate in Assembly decision-making. Unseated members must be voted back into the Assembly before they are able to vote on future motions.
