Stu Cowan: CFL stuck trying to sell Alouettes at the worst possible time

The Alouettes aren’t going to fold again before they kick off the 2019 CFL season on June 14 in Edmonton, but the franchise’s future is back on shaky ground. CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie finally spoke about the Alouettes situation on Monday, but he didn’t shed a lot of light on it. “What we can say is we’ve been gratified that so many different groups have expressed interest,” Ambrosie added. One name that has come up recently as part of a possible new ownership group is Glenn Miller, a former McGill Redmen football player who is now president of MBG Finance. Miller said he would be interested in playing a role if it’s the right deal with the right ownership group.
