ALOR SETAR: A five-year-old boy had to undergo surgery for a fracture on the forehead after being struck by a remote-controlled plane in Pekan Kampung Lalang, Baling last Friday. Mohammed Ammar Izzuddin Muhammad Zambri was riding pillion on a motorcycle with two family members when the mini-aircraft suddenly plunged and struck him on the head. “My son was pillion riding on a motorcycle with his 19-year-old cousin sister, and heading to the nearby night market when suddenly, the remote-controlled aircraft fell and struck his head. “My sister-in-law took my son to the Baling Hospital before being told to take him to the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sungai Petani for scanning. Muhammad Zambri said the remote-controlled aircraft should not have been flown in the vicinity as it was close to a public area.
