Stroud, home to the SNJ has topped the Sunday Times' list as the overall 'best place to live in the UK' for 2021The Sunday Times described Saturday mornings in Stroud as being 'always a spectacle' saying 'the star attraction is the farmers’ market on Saturdays. The town topped the poll of 78 locations compiled by The Sunday Times who said "Stroud is independent and lively, but it also has the basics covered. The schools are excellent, as are the transport links and the surrounding Cotswold countryside. The market town was voted the best place to live earlier in 2021 after judges assessed locations on education and schooling, transport links, broadband, the health of the high street and green spaces.
