more-inThe disruptive strike by Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) repairmen has been resolved. The agitation had hit KSRTC operations and inconvenienced passengers since Monday. Transport Minister Thomas Chandy told journalists that KSRTC operations were now fully resumed. The KSRTC said the “single duty” system was introduced to ensure more servicemen at depots at night. A special 12-hour shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. had been introduced to ensure round-the-clock availability of servicemen.
