The Eze Wash Naki Street Drags raised $17,504 for the Taranaki Conductive Education Trust. More than 1000 spectators and entrants from Taranaki, Wellington, Auckland and Whanganui attended the event. Taranaki Conductive Education Trust co-ordinator Craig Nielsen said the support was ‘’humbling and amazing”. There are 19 children in the programme and a second teacher has been hired, Nielsen said.
