More than a dozen police cars reportedly descended on Prentis Road, Streatham, this afternoon following the incident at around 4.16pm. A huge cordon remains in place, with eye witness reports claiming an air ambulance also landed in Tooting Common. A spokesperson for the force said: "Police were called at approximately 4.16pm on Thursday, June 10 to Prentis Road, SW16 to reports of stabbing. "Officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene and found a man with a stab wound to the chest. "Police are on the scene and there are currently road closures along Prentis Road.
