(Countless films and TV series now arrive unheralded on streaming services, leaving viewers seeking something fresh and good to sort through it all. Mötley Crüe was never terribly deep, but at its best it was dumb metal fun of an exceptionally high calibre. And, really, to do Mötley Crüe right, that’s exactly the way it had to go. Colson “Machine Gun Kelly” Baker, Daniel Webber, Iwan Rheon and Douglas Booth in The Dirt, now on Netflix. Whether you ultimately decide it’s a good or a bad thing, this flick really does bring the pages of The Dirt alive.
