A doctor on duty at the hospital's surgery ward said the girl's life was not at risk but her leg could be seriously damagedA 15 year old schoolgirl suffered gunshot injuries right in front of her house in Mistripara Bazar of Khulna city. Injured Lamia Arafat, daughter of Jamal Hossain, was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital following the incident around 11am on Friday. According to witnesses, Lamia was standing in front of the gate of her house Friday morning when a bullet shot from inside a house she was facing hit her on the leg. She was immediately rescued by locals and admitted for surgery at Khulna Medical College Hospital. A doctor on duty at the hospital's surgery ward said the girl's life was not at risk but her leg could be seriously damaged.
