She and her husband, Tom, have recently moved from England to Casablanca to accommodate Tom’s career with a major shipping company. Although the expat community in Casablanca reaches out to Zoe, she struggles to become acclimatized to her life in the strange new world of North Africa. The “Storyteller of Casablanca” is a poignant book and one of great depth. I recommend it to those who love historical fiction, stories of strong women and unexpected endings.
