In this edition of Story Behind My Nickname, Orlando Pirates and Moroka Swallows legend Bernard Lushozi reveals the origin behind his popular nickname "Shoes". It's a nickname Lushozi believes he inherited from former Buccaneer, Bernard "Dancing Shoes" Hartze. "You know about the nickname I'm not so sure, but obviously the fans will give you a nickname," Lushozi tells Kickoff.com. You are given a nickname. "But there is no straight information attached to a nickname, for example with me at Pirates there was once somebody who played for Pirates, Bernard "Shoes" Hartze, remember sometimes other names we inherit them.
