PHOTO: MARK PRICEStormwater runoff from a new Wanaka subdivision into land owned by the Otago Fish&Game Council at the head of Bullock Creek on Thursday complied with earthworks standards. That was the conclusion of Queenstown Lakes District Council officers who assessed the stormwater and confirmed it was clear and complied with the district plan and resource consent conditions. Alpha Series developer Allan Dippie said on Thursday the stormwater system was performing "as designed and consented". "The next stage of this project is to create a natural wetland to further enhance best management stormwater practice.
