An unusually dangerous storm system produced dozens of tornadoes that were either seen or spotted on radar across the Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma, but officials reported relatively limited damage. In Lubbock, Texas, the weather system—which also brought torrential rain and baseball-size hail in some areas on Monday and Tuesday—felled a few large trees and caused brief flooding on some streets.
