PETALING JAYA: Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof (pic) has told the Penang government to "stop playing games" after it once again delayed the submission of feasibility and detailed design report for the Penang Undersea Tunnel. Fadillah pointed out that it was the Penang state government that first requested the ministry to approve the construction of the proposed undersea tunnel, but approval was not given due to the absence of supporting documents. "And now, it is the Penang government that says they are not sending the reports because there is no urgency for the project. "I am unsure what games the Penang government is playing, but they should leave me out of it," Fadillah said. On Wednesday, Consortium Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd said it would not be giving priority to the undersea tunnel and would focus on the construction of the paired roads.
