David Oscar, who has become a heavy critic of Shatta Wale and his fans noted that the latter, despite his mannerisms toward his archrival, Stonebwoy, wants to be like him. Taking to his Facebook wall, he described Stonebwoy as everything Shatta Wale wants to be, stressing that the two are miles apart in terms of seniority with stagecraft. “Stonebwoy is everything Shatta Wale wants to be… don’t be fooled by his overtures towards Stonebwoy… that’s just a hapless attempt to convince himself that they are on the same level. One sees nothing wrong with miming on stage, the other creates live avenues for bandsmen to jive and eat.
